The commercial street par excellence, even more important in the past than Calle Ancha, is Calle de la Rúa.
It is a street, long, narrow and fullof establishments of the most varied, in which we can find modernshops and others, the most classic, those that we call of all the life. It is totally pedestrianised, and as we said of Caño Badillo Street (northern border), it is the southern border of the Barrio Húmedo and the old town with the most modern area of the city.
Given the proximity ofofficial sites such as the County Council, formerly the City Council andthe area of banks and offices, is a street morning atmosphere, althoughyou should not forget the atmosphere throughout the day during itsbusiness hours.
