The Auditorio Ciudad de León is an emblematic architectural space, very close to the Parador Nacional de San Marcos. It was designed by Emilio Tuñón and Luis Moreno with a capacity for more than1,500 people and was inaugurated in May 2002. He was awarded the Spanish Architecture Prize a year later and was a finalist that same year at the Mies van der Rohe Contemporary ArchitecturePrizes of the European Union and the VII Spanish Biennial ofArchitecture and Urbanism.
Theatre, dance, music and lyrics give shape to a unique programme with national and international performances in a building equipped with the most complete technical means with an interior of 3 rooms.
