This building is located in the Plaza de San Marcelo, also known by allthe people of León as the Plaza de las Palomas. It was built in thesixteenth century, which retains a classic style in its northwest corner, which formerly held the corrals of comedies in the so-called MainTheater in the 60s.
At the present time the sessions of the Plenary of the City council arecelebrated in the old hall, the civil weddings are carried out and in theinferior part is the office of denunciations of the Local Police of León.
